This story starts in a rather peculiar way .. but bear with me … I get there in the end ….
Those of you who know my husband, know that he is a keen cyclist, and whilst out one day on a wee trip, he had by chance stumbled upon a signpost to … Carphin by St Andrews.. behind which, was a road lined with trees and a little stream that ran along side.
Keen to know more (as you know, part of the fun of getting out and about and exploring is discovering new places) we did a google search to find out a bit more…and this was the website we found…. http://www.carphinbystandrews.co.uk
And after a couple of phone conversations and a wee meeting with the very lovely Alex & Louise (part of the team at Carphin House) , the idea of this styled shoot was born.
This was to be the first wedding shoot that I had planned , of course Carphin Country House was the starting point for this Styled Wedding Shoot. But where from there?
I set about pinning images and ideas onto a pinterest board I’d created, not only to help me, but it was also a fantastic tool to share and see the ideas come together as more and more people came onboard for this rather fantastic collaboration . And this is how the next slightly bonkers part of the plan came together… it was obvious, other than images form actual weddings, there weren’t that many styled wedding shoots out there with young kids. AHAAAHAA!!! A cunning, slightly mad plan was hatched – I would, er… bribe..no thats not right…ask (?) my two youngest kids to come along and be our two young models for a few hours on the day ….. as it happened it turned out to be slightly more than just a couple of hours…. but they were amazing (of I don’t say so myself!)
Be warned – there are quite a few photos below! Grab a coffee, and put your feet up I’d love to hear your comments below. I’ve listed all the fantabulous collaborators at the end of the photos – all with links to their websites – well worth going to check them all out .. .
Hope you get as much enjoyment viewing the images, as we all did creating them xxx
Photography .. why that would be me of course photos by zoe

Wither it be something small and intimate ~ them you could have your wedding inside the beautiful old country house itself.
